South Padre and another Flea Market Day

Monday we were up and ready to head to Market Days in south Padre. Mark & Dortha picked us up and Kevin & Arlene rode with Nolan & Donna.

We stopped at Dirty Al’s for some lunch before heading over to the Convention Center.

The food was pretty good and there was a lot of it! I had the Shrimp Basket

and Mac had the Shrimp & Chicken Basket.

After finishing at Market Days we were headed to the beach…YEAH!!

The tide was high and the waves were crashing in almost on us. Dortha had to take a barefoot walk in the surf…

After leaving the beach we all stopped at Dairy Queen for a treat before heading back. Mark Dortha and Mac & I made a few stops at some souvenir shops but didn’t find much that we were interested in.

The last one we stopped at was very interesting..Dinosaurs, Shells, Dolphins, and lots of coral…fun place to look around…

and before we knew it…

the sun was almost down and we were back at our RV…What a great day we had with all our friends here in the Valley!!

Tuesday we just hug around at the RV cleaning the Rv and doing laundry. I never left the RV all day. Mac ran to the store for some tomatoes and I made Sanchos for supper. We watched American Idol and just relaxed.

Wednesday Arlene & I needed to make a trip to the Flea Market to exchange a couple of things…so we all headed out about 11:30. We made our exchanges and looked around a bit but didn’t see anything that we just couldn’t do without, oh except for some Watkins flavorings…

Everyone was hungry so we stopped at The Crazy Buffet for an early dinner. It was very good!

We came back to the RV and just took it easy for the rest of the evening watching a little TV.

No plans for the next couple of days so we will see if anything comes up…
