We left Lamar, CO Tuesday morning to make our trek to Woodland Park, CO for 5 days. The trip was about 170 miles and we had a nice drive….
about half way through our drive we looked up and saw….
the mountains….Oh how we missed seeing them…
we arrived in the area and traveled through Colorado City on our way to our RV Park…
We arrived at Diamond Campground & RV Park
We got all set up and decided we were going to go out to Rudy’s for dinner…it was good, but not as good as we have had at other Rudy’s location.
Here are a few photos of the RV Park…very many trees…
Wednesday, we took a drive around to check out the area…it sure is pretty here!
After looking around we decided that it was time for dinner. We checked “Yelp” and decided on Carlos Miguel’s. The food was ok but they used way too much Cilantro in it…and Mac & I neither one care for cilantro…
Thursday we drove out to the Pikes National Forest…took a few photos..
rock formations…
and some beautiful scenery…
Friday we headed over to Cripple Creek and Victor…but that is for another blog….Have a great day!!

There's no such thing as "too much cilantro". LOVE cilantro. LOL
