We left Mountain Grove, Mo about 9:30am today. It was about 30 minutes than we had thought we would get out of there…
We had a pretty uneventful trip today. We passed through lots of hills…
the weather was very nice with blue skies and big fluffy clouds…of course I had to take some photos…lol
As we passed through Missouri and into the eastern side of the state the hills gave way to long stretches of flat land, almost like being in Kansas again.
We even passed by something that looked like a Lighthouse out in the middle of a field…hmmm wonder what it is used for…
We made it to Hinton RV Park in Sikeston, MO about 1pm, got checked in and all set up. Forgot to take a photo of the park but will do that tomorrow. We visited with the couple that are workamping here. They are originally from Missouri but had lived in Oklahoma for several years before retiring. This is their first year at this park.
We kicked back and relaxed for a while then headed over to the RV Park Office for them to call for the shuttle to take us to Lambert’s for dinner. This is pretty nice! The shuttle driver took us in the backdoor and after only about 5 minutes we were seated and had our drinks and menu. Of course we were stuffed when we left and brought home enough for at least one or two meals.
Now we are just sitting here watching TV and trying to decide what the plan will be for tomorrow…Flea Market, Farmer’s Market, Outlet Mall, some sight seeing, and then on to Nashville on Monday…
(((Hugs))) to everyone

Nette, you got Randy's favorite - the meat loaf! Makes our mouths water just looking at Lambert's sign! :) Enjoy the journey.
Love Lamberts. I am like Randy...just bring me the meatloaf and the rolls.
Have fun in Nashville.
Looking forward to seeing you guys soon...we need a long visit.
Hmmm, I bet you had the chicken fried steak.. Thats what I had last week when we were at Lamberts..
See you tomorrow...Yeah!
Love the pics of the Ozarks...you were just a stone's throw away from our woods!
Gotta love the "throwed rolls!"
Blessings,
Kathy
