Touring with Friends…

Saturday, we didn’t do much but decided to make a run to WalMart so picked up John & Bridget and off we went. Stopped at Bed, Bath & Beyond again….John liked Bridget’s Tervis mug so well he wanted one of his own…lol

Next stop WalMart for a few items…and I mean very few.

Then decided to have something to eat so Mac was wanting to try out Arnold’s Diner.

It looks like an old 50’s diner….well …and not being negative here folks, but the food wasn’t very good, but the service was terrible.

We drove down LaCrosse St and I noticed that the statues of the Presidents were on this street…I only got a photo of a couple. I will have to go back today before we head to Deadwood….

On Sunday, we told Kevin & Arlene goodbye. They are headed back to Texas for a few weeks. Arlene has been sick almost the whole time that they have been here and has not got to do much sight-seeing.

After they took off, Mac & I and John & Bridget decided to go to the Air & Space Museum by Ellsworth Airforce Base.

This is a very nice museum, with lost of Planes outside and displays inside.

Then we were off to take a drive to Custer and out to Crazy Horse Memorial…

Crazy Horse…John & Bridget said it looked the same as it did in 1991 when they were here last…

We had a very nice day with friends…

Stay tuned….

Weren't those buffalos beautiful? I loved that whole area. I think you'll love Deadwood too. I was there when I was a kid, went to school there, but when we were there last summer, nothing looked the same. Even the graveyard was different.

Wow as you know it is one of my favorite areas... LOVE Custer & Custer State park...I love the Buffalo around town too. I agree about Crazy Horse it never seems to change but the night time lazer show is fabulous! We went to the Air Museum a couple of years ago and did the Minuteman Missle tour there. We enjoyed Deadwood last year ~ went to a casino played a little and ate at the buffet. Then we went up to the cemetery and walked around. Had to see Wild Bills & Clamity Janes graves right? We also drove the Spearfish Canyon while there ~ beautiful scenic drive.
Have fun
