We’re Still Here….

Just wanted to let  you all know that we are still in Garnett. We have been working on the house relentlessly trying to get everything done so that we can get the Auction scheduled. Hopefully we can get it scheduled sometime in June….Whew we are really tired but will be soooo glad when it is over.

It has been so long since I have posted that I cannot even remember what has been going on except all the work at the house.

Mac went to the Cath Lab at Saint Luke’s South Hospital to have a Electric Cardio-Version and when they checked him out, his heart was back in normal rhythm again…so he didn’t have to have the procedure…YEAH!  The doctor changed some of his medicines and he will have a checkup on May 26th to make sure things are going ok.

I had my first appointment this week..it was to have my eye examination and my eyes have changed enough that I need new glasses. I have an appointment with my primary doctor on Monday to begin all my other tests that have to be done before we take off. I need an Ultrasound on my Thyroid to see if the growths are getting bigger, a CT Scan to check a spot they thought they saw on my right lung, and of course my favorite test…the dreaded Colonoscopy….as bad as I hate it, I always love hearing the news that everything is still cancer-free. I also have to have surgery on my right toe on Tuesday to take off some of my toenail that is growing back…

The biggest news we have is that we traded our truck off for a new-to-us 2008 Ford F-450. It is a great truck so far…it only had 6480 miles on it and it still smells like new…here are a few photos.

After that we will head back to Garnett to finish up everything at the house and then we will be off on a new adventure.

This will be a really hard weekend for me as it is the first Mother’s Day since my mom passed away…it just will not ever be the same. Love you Mom!

Have a Great Mother’s Day to all my family and friends…

Hugs!!

Man that is a nice looking truck! Good luck on all the exams. Sherri and I have to get all ours done before September.

Hope all your doctor appointments end with good reports.

Congratulations to all the kids. That baby is a real cutie pie.

Miss you guys...can't wait for fall to catch up with everyone.

Hugs to you both.
