Saturday, after much discussion, we decided that we needed to change our travel plans and make our way to Garnett sooner than we had planned.

Mac has been having some problems with his throat and it seems to be getting worse. After having to have growths shaved off two times, we decided that this was our priority right now. So, we will leave Williams on the 28th and go to Holbrook, AZ for the weekend. We will then make an overnight stop in Albuquerqe . We should arrive in Amarillo on May 2nd for a week, then on to another overnight stop in Oklahoma City. We should arrive in Garnett on May 12th. Mac has an appointment with his Vocal Chord Specialist on May 17th. We will see what the doctor has to say and hopefully if any procedure needs done, it can be taken care of quickly.

Mac also has an appointment at his Cardiologist’s office on the morning of the 17th for them to make some changes in his medication.

We have plans to head back west to Jenni & family in Emporia for a week, then on to Kingman to Teri & family for a week, my sister’s for a few days in Waynoka,OK, and still make it to Dana’s in time for Crystal’s wedding on June 10th if possible. After the wedding we will go to Ulysses to see Mac’s sister, Linda & family for a few days and then to Lamar, Co to visit more family before starting our trek north to Cody, WY. Whew…that’s a lot of travel.

We have just been hanging out in the RV today as the wind is blowing really hard! Tomorrow is Easter and we will be spending a quiet day together. We hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter.

Monday we will be going to the Grand Canyon for the day. We will also take in the IMAX movie while we are there. We have been to the Grand Canyon before but wanted another visit. We also have plans for dinner with some of our rv’ing friends that arrived yesterday here in Williams.

On Tuesday we will be meeting up with our good friends, Bob & Molly, in Cottonwood, AZ for the day…a drive in the area and a trip to Jerome for lunch.

Stay tuned for what happens next!!
