Weekend Trip to See the Kids

Well I have been really bad about posting. there has not been much going on around our house. We have finally gotten over our upper respiratory infection...Yeah!

Mac and I worked on making the new Cornice's and curtains for the bedroom in the RV. I had mentioned this in my last post and said that I would post some photos when we got them finished. Well, here are a few photos while making them, and on the wall in the RV bedroom.

While we were making them...

Also, we made a trip to Wichita and Kingman to see our kids and grandkids this last weekend. We had a great time but I forgot to take any photos of the grandkids while at Teri's. OOPS.

We took everyone out to a Mexican Restaurant on Friday night. Wow! Six adults and five of our  grandkids...They about emptied out Mac's wallet...lol

We decided that the adults would go in to Wichita on Saturday and go out to dinner. We had a few occasions to celebrate. Dana & Russell's anniversary was April 22nd, Teri & Lynnie's anniversary was on April 27th, and my birthday was April 29th. So we made an evening of it. We went to Timberline Steak House and boy did we eat way too much food! We had a great time catching up and laughing the evening away.

and then Lynnie took a photo of all of us trying to eat.

We went back to Kingman on Sunday to visit a little more before starting home. Mac play Wii with Lynnie and the grandkids. It was so funny watching them. He beat them playing baseball and then Lynnie tried to teach him to play a shooting game.

We finally left about 3:00 to start home. We stopped in Wichita to have a sandwich at a 50's diner called Walt's. It was yummy!

We got home pretty late and unpacked and I got my things together for work on Monday. Work this week was pretty normal.

Mac and I have been discussing whether for me to keep working or to retire. I can't decide. I like my job and would not want to leave them without help, but I would also like to be able to go places when Mac wants to take off somewhere...lol. I guess I will keep working.

Well, we are really excited about our trip to Sedalia the end of the month. We will be seeing some friends that were in Kerrville in March. Keith & Donna, Bob & Molly.  Maybe Nolan & Donna if they can make it.  Also, we will finally get to meet Jim Beletti in person. He works for Heartland and is kind of their PR person. A few other RV-Dreamers will be there for us to meet for the first time. Tom & Paula Nankivell, and Marvin & Karen Osborne. It is so great to meet new people with the same things in common.

Well, I have rattled on long enough...We hope everyone has a great weekend!
