More Friends Arrive in the Valley

When we were at the Flea Market on Sunday, we picked up some new director style chairs. The have a higher back and Mac really likes that. Here is a photo of the chairs…we really like them..

Monday morning we were waiting for Kevin & Arlene to arrive at our park. They have been in Florida and were going to come here to stay for the month of February. We were really glad to see them even though we had spent some time with them in Oklahoma a couple of months ago.

They got all set up and rested for a while.

Everyone gathered at our RV for Happy Hour and “Light Appetizers”…that’s funny…it is always more like a full buffet line.

We all visited and we all got caught up with everything that has been going on. We made a plan to go to Gonzales for lunch on Tuesday. This place has the biggest hamburgers that I have ever seen. And they are wonderful! They raise their own beef and only have 300 lbs ground daily. They serve until 3pm or when they run out of patties.

The weather was pretty chilly when we arrived and had to sit outside while waiting for our meal. Fortunatly we got tables inside by the time the food arrived.

Arlene and I shared a Cheeseburger and Onion Rings…and still were stuffed.

Mac saw this tree next door and pointed it out to the rest of us…hmmm never have seen a tree like this one.

After lunch, Mark & Dortha and Deb & Rod took off to do some shopping and sight-seeing and Mac & I, Donna, and Kevin & Arlene made a stop at Hobby Lobby and Sally’s Beauty Supply.

Now we are tucked in at the RV and will probably spend a quiet evening.

I talked to the nurse at the assisted living facility where Jerry lives. He is doing good, but is not eating a lot. They are working on him to eat more. His health is staying about the same….Thank Goodness!

Not sure if there are any plans for the next couple of days, but stay tuned to see what happens next here in the Valley!!

Hugs to everyone!!

You guys are having TOO MUCH FUN!!! I just love your pics--- what a hoot, and oh the food the food the food!

We like those chairs too, our friends bought a set and we might invest in a set too for camping this spring. I sure like the little table and the poucn alongside for things. And you don't spill your beverage with that holder-- great idea!
