Leaving Salina and Rain

I told Mac today that if anyone needed rain that all they would need to do is invite us to visit. It seems to follow us wherever we go...lol

Mac took the truck to have it serviced this morning before leaving Salina. He thought that he smelled something hot the other day on our way to Salina and decided that he would have it checked out before we headed back home.

We were going to stop at the RV Wash before leaving town but it started raining right as we were leaving....LOL...it figures.

The trip was pretty uneventful.

We stopped in Paxico, KS at the  Wyldewood Cellars Winery for some Wine tasting and to get a bottle of Elderberry Concentrate. Elderberry Concentrate is a natural source of Rutin and Vitamin C--antioxidants, Quercitin--antiinflamitory and antihistamine, Bioflavanoids--antiviral and antidiabetic, and supports the immune system.

We also bought a bottle of Spiced Wine and some Cherry Jelly and some Sugar-Free Home made Fudge.

Here are a few photos of our view out of the windshield today...

We arrived in Garnett about 4:30 and got checked in and the RV all set up.

Our site at the Garnett Inn Suites & RV Park. we are staying here using our Passport America membership so it is only costing us 12.00 + tax for as many days as we want to stay. Not bad!!

and last but not least...a Garnett, KS Sunset.

We headed over to the house to see the painting progress. It still needs some painting done, but hopefully it will be done soon. The weather is supposed to be nice the next several days with highs ranging from 60* tomorrow to 78* on Saturday. We should be able to get a lot of things accomplished!

Well stay tuned to see our progress over the next few weeks...

Hugs to all!!!
